8K a year The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day organization and management of the Warehouse Receiving department which includes updating of production schedules, the effective use of all resources, meeting production dates, and the overall housekeeping and general safety guidelines of the Company.
This position will safely, properly, and efficiently quality check/test, load, ship, material based on the specifics for the materials being ordered, used, and received by the Company.
The Warehouse Manager properly administers Company policies and ensuring compliance with required standards for work orders and labor laws within the Warehouse Receiving Department on a continual basis from one product to the next and one employee to the next.
Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities:
High school diploma or GED Effective communication skills Capability to review and understand material list and parts on shop drawings.
Can work effectively independent and in a group.
Valid South Carolina Driver License 1 2 years management and warehousing/inventory management exp a plus, but not required Knowledge of structural materials (testing) Effectively follow directions and company initiatives Properly and accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 (testing) Operate a crane for use in lifting materials and work items Forklift certification is a plus, but not required (Company will provide training if not already certified) Microsoft office experience is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work scheduled shifts.
Ability to bend, stoop, sit, grasp with hands, feel texture with fingers, cling, walk, twist, stand, and work on concrete for up to twelve hours per day up to six (6) days per week Ability to work at heights of greater than 6 feet on a regular basis/as work dictates Ability to work overtime when necessary/required and with short notice Ability to work in all weather conditions as job requires working inside and outside through the course of a single shift Job Type:
