Nucor Steel South Carolina is seeking a strong leader for the position of Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor.
This position is an integral member of the Nucor Steel South Carolina leadership team and will be responsible in leading the efforts to continually improve our safety, quality, cost, reliability, productivity, profitability, and team member development in our department and division.
The successful candidate will collaborate between maintenance, production and other areas to improve communication and efficiency at the division.
The qualified candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays when necessary.
Safety is an important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety practices, policies, procedures and housekeeping standards to make safety a priority at all times.
The successful candidate will coach and develop their team, communicate effectively between all areas and departments, maintain and grow our culture while working to achieve all of our goals.
The primary area of responsibility for the successful candidate will be determined based on what is best for our division.

Minimum
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Five years industrial maintenance experience One year supervisory or leadership experience Preferred
Qualifications:
