Seeking a creative, forward-thinking, process-minded effective communicator to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and a wide range of HR support to our team members including but not limited to:
Manage all compliance requirements such as policy formation, standardization efforts and HR related audits Provide backup payroll support to our payroll coordinator Coordinate and manage all aspects training and development Support pre-employment and onboarding requirements Coordinate diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives Assist with talent acquisition efforts Assist in managing various company sponsored employee relations programs Respond to questions from all levels of employees regarding company policy. Follow up on issues to resolve specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries Basic Job Functions Cont. Assist with communication/distribution of all pertinent HR information to teammates Perform specific research/investigation into HR best practices as assigned Support wellness initiatives and other teammate awareness/communications activities Assist with Workers Compensation reporting and case management and Unemployment cases Assist with Benefits Administration Assist with Teammate relations and the planning of special projects and events Perform other related duties as required by Supervisor Minimum
Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution. 2-3 years Human Resources experience SAP payroll, MS office, and HRIS experience No immediate relatives employed at NSSC as defined Preferred
Qualifications:
Prior experience using NOVAtime. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations talent systems and understand, interpret, and report analytics. Benefits Administration Experience. Experience in diversity, equity and inclusion. Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in the US. SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
