The City of Darlington's Building and Codes Department is seeking a code enforcement assistant.
This is a part-time position.
The hours are 10a-2p Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
- Canvasing scheduled areas of the city to determine if any violations exist in accordance with the City of Darlington's Code of Ordinances.
- Perform re-inspections for compliance of all issued violations - Perform Administrative Duties as delegated by the Building Official Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License - Clean Driving Record - Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong organizational and time management skills Please note:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
